How It Works

Hot air balloons operate on a simple principle: hot air rises in cooler air. The journey begins before dawn when the air is serene and the wildlife is just beginning to stir. A powerful burner heats up the air inside the large balloon envelope, propelling the 'air ship' into an uplifting journey. The pilots can control the altitude by manipulating the temperature inside the balloon: heating the air to ascend and letting the air cool down to descend.
